Thank you for your interest in EMQ FamiliesFirst's Clinical Internship Program. The Clinical Internship Program at EMQ FamiliesFirst provides training and clinical supervision to graduate students enrolled in an accredited university, college or professional graduate school to obtain a post-baccalaureate degree in psychology, social work or marriage family therapy (i.e., MFT trainees and MSW student interns). Some locations offer internships for pre-doctorate PhD and PsyD students as well.
EMQ Families First's Clinical Internship Program is committed to providing training
in evidence-based practices. Our goal is to provide interns with
a solid theoretical and experiential base that will become the
foundation for future professional work in mental health and social
services. These individuals will acquire the knowledge and skills
to work competently within the mental health system at the completion
of their Clinical Internship Program training at EMQ FamiliesFirst. Clinical
Interns will be integrated into our interdisciplinary clinical
team while enriching each other's experience through an interchange
of ideas and perspectives. Our current Clinical Interns are getting
extensive training in the programs at our various locations.
Please visit the Our
Services section of our website to find more information about
EMQ FamiliesFirst and various services offered to
