5th Annual Great Silicon Valley Caper
Sunday, May 20, 2012
11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Join us for a new twist on this favorite benefit in the South Bay – this year you and your friends can compete as sleuths in an easy-walking treasure hunt through Los Gatos. After champagne brunch at the Opera House, you’ll follow clues and unlock mysteries around the quaint downtown area.  Then return for a fabulous dessert and learn which team takes home top private eye honors. Join in the silent and live auctions full of enticing trips, tickets, gifts and gourmet items.

The best part of the day is knowing you’re helping kids in crisis. This year’s proceeds will benefit privately funded programs of EMQ FamiliesFirst like our Family Finding* program.

*Family Finding staff act like real-world detectives – and the stakes are high. Family Finding locates and helps foster children develop permanent relationships with at least one safe, healthy family member. This work is critical because we know that kids who age out of the foster care system without established family connections face a bleak future – their chances of ending up in prison or homeless skyrocket.  Why must these kids continue to suffer into adulthood when their only “crime” as children was to be abused, neglected or abandoned?
