Carlos Lets Kids Know that People Care
Dear EMQ FamiliesFirst:
My name is Carlos Anderson and I represent the Boy Scouts of America, troop 76 in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. I have recently begun my Eagle Scout service project, titled “I Can Make a Mighty Change in Peoples Lives.”
My project will be to assemble 200 individual health care packages which contain some of the necessities of everyday life which we all enjoy. These care packages will include such items as a toothbrush, toothpaste, hand soap, wash cloth, bath towel, shampoo, conditioner, disposable razor, comb, brush, and other essentials. I will have members of my church and the community donate materials or money to fund my project.
My troop and community members will assist me on a designated date and assemble these packages. With your permission, my Scout Master and myself would like to re-visit your organization and deliver the assembled care packages.
It is my hope that when these people receive these individual health care packages, it will let them know that we care about them and bring some hope back into their lives.
Thank you for your time in this matter. Your response to this letter and our conversation will be included in my Eagle Scout Project workbook.
Sincerely,
Carlos Anderson
