Celebrating Families!

Celebrating Families! supports healing and promotes safety for children of substance abusers. It prepares families in early recovery to be able to make the behavioral changes needed to raise a healthy family. The program integrates the teaching of parenting skills with strategies to break the cycle of addiction in families. It reinforces and explains what clients learn in treatment and recovery programs. Meeting my mom after joining her small group Bible study created an instant connection in my heart and once I met my Dad and experienced the love and caring that my brothers and sisters showed me, I was convinced that this was the family I was to be a part of.
